Murals

In 2001, I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and consequently I had the priviledge of working with the world-renowned marine artist Wyland in Destin, Florida, and assisted as a member of his team to complete the 88th Whaling Wall which is located on the Mid-Bay Marina. At the time of this mural painting, completion of the project placed it in Guinness Book of Records as the largest mural east of the Mississippi River. I went back in 2004 to assist in adding to the existing mural onto the Mid-Bay Marina addition, making it a Guinness World Record for the Largest Mural in the United States. On the roof of the original section we painted the American flag in tribute to our military troops. The Mid-Bay Marina 88th Whaling Wall Mural is approximately 3-stories tall and measures at over 167,000 square feet.
